Summary:
We are seeking a Software developer to help accelerate our core software applications. Our ideal candidate has at 5 least years of strong technical experience in a collaborative team environment delivering scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
Responsibilities:
· Exposure to working cross functionally within a software team.
· Key contributor to the development of new features and successful product releases
· Design and build software solutions with new technologies
· Passionate about learning new things and helping others
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of Software development experience designing, building and deploying reliable and scalable applications.
· Full stack developer with proficiency in Python, Ruby, Go, or Node.js.
· SQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Database design and query writing with Postgres experience.
· Experienced with object oriented design practices and patterns.
· HTML/Javascript/CSS
· Experience with version control (Git – preferred – or Subversion)
· Experience with Linux systems and Bash shell scripting
· Ability to collaborate across teams to achieve results.
Any of these would great:
· Experience with Django
· Experience with PostGIS
· Production app deployment and monitoring
· Understanding of distributed tasks with Celery+RabbitMQ
· Cloud Architecture tuning and optimization
· Knowledge of VueJS or other Javascript framework
· Proficiency in Linux administration
· Experience with Document and Key/Value data stores
